While a visit to Alexander Valley Vineyards is a great way to taste thru our wines and get the inside story on the Wetzel Family Estate, those opportunities don't come along every day. So here's an array of wine dinners, tastings and festivals that might be closer to your home. You can often talk with our winemakers and family partners while getting the chance to try our latest releases and perhaps discover something new about AVV. JULY
July 14: Wine on a Dime Temecula, CA
Meet Stewart Vandenberg, one of our Zinfandel grape growers and AVV Sales Rep for a tasting in Temecula on Wednesday July 14 from 5 to 7pm. He will be pouring our trio of Zins - Temptation, Sin and Redemption, plus Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

July 22: Jacmel Inn Hammond, Louisiana
Join Rob Wetzel - Family Member and National Sales Manager for a wine dinner at the Jacmel Inn. The chef has paired 4 courses to showcase both food and wine. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. (or a little before)and dinner will begin about 7:25 p.m. The total cost for this event is a stunningly low $75 per person. AUGUST
August 20-22: Mammoth Festival Mammoth Mountain, CA
A celebration of wine and live music featuring music by Train and more...all in a beautiful mountain setting. On Friday night enjoy the Wine Walk in The Village and sip a little AVV. Saturday, John Wetzel will be pouring AVV's finest in the mountain air, surrounded by towering Jeffery pines. Stop by and say hello to John.

August 28 & 29: Bodega Seafood, Art & Wine Bodega, CA
Come to the most joyful, unique celebration of food, wine, beer, art and entertainment in the wine country! SEPTEMBER
September 2-6: Pinehurst Wine Fest Pinehurst, NC
Max Vater will be pouring some of AVV's top wines at the Pinehurst Wine Fest. Each Labor Day weekend for the past 21 years, Pinehurst has invited food and wine lovers from around the globe to share in an extraordinary four days of competitions and demonstrations, seminars and tastings, gourmet dinners and social gatherings. With attendance reaching 500 annually, this boutique event gives guests one-on-one access with experts, premier chefs, sommeliers and wine principals in a setting known for quality experiences. Sept. 24-25: Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival Newport, RI
Visit historic Newport in late September when the tourists have left for this uspcale festival. We'll be pouring our classics along with CYRUS at one of the prettiest sites on the East Coast.
