JuneTaste Alexander Valley June 4-6 Taste your way through the valley and find out why it's such a great place for Cab (as well as Chardonnay and a lot of other varietals). Stop by Alexander Valley Vineyards for some Sangio Sliders and taste a few new releases. And if you are looking for a different way to see Wine Country, hang around and take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyards. This year's Taste is better than ever with more than 35 wineries participating. The weekend begins with a special gala Friday night at Alexander's Crown. Tickets are $90 for the gala and $65($75 at the door) for the rest of the weekend. For tickets, follow this link.
JulySummer Heat - Cool Deals July 17 The Cab Clan along 128 is getting together for a day of wine and food (along with a few wine steals). Buy a glass for just $10, then visit seven Alexander Valley wineries for a taste of why this stretch of the valley is known for making great Cabs (not to mention fabulous Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Merlot. Besides wine, the $10 will buy you some savory bites like the grilled shrimp we will be serving up at AVV. In addition to us, the glass gets you into Field Stone, Hanna, Johnson's, Medlock Ames, Sausal and White Oak. And if you visit all 7, you'll have a chance to win a mixed wine basket featuring some of the best offerings from each of the participants.
