20th Anniversary Winter Wineland AVV's property at the base of the Alexander Valley foothills is a beautiful place to spend a winter weekend. Annual CYRUS Dinner Enjoy a sumptuous three course meal in the AVV wine cave, prepared by Mark Stark of Willi's Seafood and Stark's Steakhouse. Each course will be paired with a different AVV wine, including the evening's guest of honor, the 2008 CYRUS, our flagship Bordeaux blend. This annual celebration honors Cyrus Alexander, CYRUS’s namesake and founder of the Alexander Valley and the property that is now AVV. Spring Bash Be a Winemaker for a Day! The Spring Bash features our blending seminar, where AVV Winemaker Kevin Hall will share his expertise on handcrafting wine. You'll join a team and have the chance to measure, blend and taste your own wine. If your team’s blend wins, you can boast of your winemaking expertise to friends and family when it’s bottled as the 2011 Wine Club Reserve with your team’s name on the bottle. Following the competition, enjoy a Gourmet Luncheon in the cave, prepared by Tim Vallery of Peloton Catering. Tickets are $75 per person, reservations required. Garden Lunches Savor an elegant meal prepared by a Sonoma County chef and served on the patio of the Wetzel Family Estate. Harvest Party Experience the harvest season at AVV first-hand! We'll be celebrating the 2012 harvest with our biggest party of the year. It’s an all-day party, held on the Wetzel Family’s historic 600 acre estate in beautiful Alexander Valley. Join us for grape picking, brunch, blessing of the grapes, a grape stomp competition and bocce ball tournament, barbecue and music. Tickets are $75 per person.
