Grape to Glass Wine Option:  For wine lovers, we’ve paired five cookies with our top wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon – organically grown, Wine Club Reserve, and Alexander School Reserve Old Vine Zinfandel.

Garden to Glass Alcohol-Free Option:  Enjoy five different cookies along with five non-alcoholic tastings created by AVV Culinary Director and Chef Tim Gleadall.  He’s chosen the finest seasonal ingredients and products grown on our Alexander Valley Farm to craft each drink. Our handcrafted shrubs are bursting with flavor and showcase the essence of the special place we call home, all in an alcohol-free experience.

Cave Tour

Noon & 2:30pm Daily

Complimentary

Tour our 48,000-square-foot underground wine cave. Learn about our barrel aging program and how barrels are the winemaker’s spice cabinet. Advance reservations are required for groups of 7 or more. The tour has limited capacity and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Walk-ins are welcome. However, space is limited, and advanced reservations are encouraged.

Immersive Cave Tour & Tasting Experience

Saturday & Sunday: 1pm-One Hour

Experience an exclusive wine cave tour and tasting in Sonoma’s largest underground wine cave, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste wine straight from the barrel. Discover the rich history of the valley’s namesake, Cyrus Alexander, along with the pioneering Wetzel family, who helped shape winemaking in the Alexander Valley. As you’re guided through the cave, you’ll taste five unique AVV wines, while learning about our winemaking process, the construction of the cave, and life on our working farm. This 90-minute one-of-a-kind experience is offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm. Space is limited and advanced reservations are required.

Experience Cabernet Sauvignon

Do you wonder if there is REALLY any difference between our Cabs? Experience what makes Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon so unique with a horizontal tasting of four of our Cabernets, including our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon – organically grown, Alexander School Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and CYRUS, a cabernet-based blend.

Vineyard Hikes

10:30am Daily

$85 per person, $65 for Wine Club Members (max 6 tickets)

Get an insider’s view as we explore our vineyards while tasting our wines where they grow. After the hike, relax and enjoy the views with a wine-country boxed lunch. This is an easy walking tour, but there are hills and dirt trails.  Hikes are available weather permitting; call to confirm.
