Ingredients:

Wings
Chicken wings*
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne pepper (optional)

*Choose an amount of wings you feel is enough for the size of your party: roughly 1 pound of wings per guest for an appetizer or 1.5-2 pounds of wings per guest for an entrée.

Sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup hot sauce, like Frank’s Original

Note: For 2-3 pounds of wings, 1/4 cup of each ingredient is plenty; use equal parts of each for more wings.

Method of Preparation:
Rinse the chicken wings and pat dry, then lay them out on a cookie sheet. Salt and pepper both sides of the wings and sprinkle with the cayenne pepper if you want spicier wings.

Cook the wings on a pre-heated outdoor grill on medium to high heat for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Flip the wings about halfway through.

While the wings are cooking, heat the honey, butter and hot sauce in a saucepan over low heat. The sauce is ready once the butter has melted and the ingredients have blended nicely.

Once the wings are done, put them in a large bowl with the sauce and toss together.
